Our Team
Dr. Ryan Thibodaux, D.D.S.
Dr. Thibodaux is a New Orleans Native and graduate of Jesuit High School. He attended LSU on a music and academic scholarship where he was a four-year member of the Golden Band from Tigerland.
Dr. Thibodaux graduated LSU Dental School in 2000 and completed a one-year hospital based general Dentistry residency at the VA, New Orleans.
Since graduating, Dr. Thibodaux has attended over 500 hours of continuing education courses on various subjects. He joined the Prosthodontic Faculty as an assistant clinical professor in 2006.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Thibodaux performs and records with the Bucktown All-Stars and Disney's Imagination Movers. He has two children, Gabriela, 7, and Owen, 5. His wife, Lynda, is a certified cancer nurse at Tulane University Hospital in New Orleans.
Dr. Mayda Ferguson, D.D.S.
Dr. Ferguson grew up in Metairie and attended Bonnabel High School. She went on to LSU where she received Bachelor degrees in Zoology and Microbiology. She received her Degree in Dentistry from the LSU School of Dentistry in 2000 and completed a general practice residency in 2001 at the VA Hospital in New Orleans. Dr. Ferguson has two small children and is married to Dr. Michael Ferguson, an Oral Surgeon in the area. She is also fluent in Spanish and an enthusiastic member of Dr. Thibodaux's LiveSTRONG Team.
Julie McElroy, Hygienist
Julie is a resident of Metairie where she lives with her husband and two Labrador Retrievers. She graduated from Nicholls State University with a degree in Management and attended LSU Dental School on academic scholarship. Julie received her degree in Dental Hygiene in 1996 and has been working in private practice since.
Andrea Patrick, Office Manager
Andrea was born and raised in the New Orleans area. She graduated from St. Mary's Dominican High School with honors. She attended Tulane University School of Architecture on an academic scholarship. She graduated with a Masters in Architecture in 2008. She has worked with Dr. Thibodaux since 2005, and is also an enthusiastic LiveSTRONG team member.
